Wig DRAMA

So, Twilight OST/Lainey posted these pics of the Florida Renee visit scene in Eclipse, and it shows off Bella's wig in all it's horror. This fiasco is reminisent of the Jacob Twilight wig crisis of '08. (Marginally improved for New Moon in '09.)

Check out David, in the hat, directing Kristen and Sarah Chalke.

I bet Kristen is kicking herself for chopping all her locks off to embody the role of Joan Jett in The Runaways, the film she shot during the short break between New Moon and Eclipse. Beside the fact that the hairline is all wrong, that rug must be itchy as hell. I wouldn't be able to take myself seriously with that thing on. Guess that's why she's the actor and I'm the blogger...

BUT let's not lose sight of what's really important here. More Eclipse shooting means one step closer to June 30, 2010 when the Newborn Army attacks!!!

Anna Paquin better watch her neck

WARNING: TRUE BLOOD SPOILERS. If you haven't seen the August 30th ep. yet don't read.

Anna Paquin better watch her back, because Evan Rachel Wood's portrayal of the campy vamp that drips with witty sex appeal, Queen Sophie-Ann has me singing Sophie-Ann is MY Queen! I simply adore that her "days" are spent amongst plastic seagulls and a line of abiding humans just waiting for a bite. Can I join that line up?

Yesterday's episode was full of witty one liners and, more importantly, answers. We finally discover how Mary Anne can be killed, and it may cost our favorite shifter's, Sam, life. I'm sure writer Alan Ball wouldn't dare, but it's still sad to think about Bon Temps minus a Merlotte. :(

Who else is on Team Sophie-Ann?! Best character intro EVER! Right?! ERW just may have elevated an already soaring series past the cloud bank. Thank you, once again, HBO!

Equinox Video Details

Belly's full and I'm back with more music news. Sure, it's New Moon related, but music news nontheless. As you know by now (if you've been good little blog readers) Death Cab for Cutie's new single "Meet me on the Equinox" will be released September 13th as the first single off the New Moon soundtrack. Below they discuss video details.

Nick Harmer- DCFC:

"We wanted to record a song that we loved and we would use on an album or anywhere and submit it to this process, and if they passed on it — if they were like, 'Hey, you know what? This isn't quite right for us, thanks a lot for trying' — we'd still have a song out that we'd be proud of, that we could put somewhere else. For us, it was a no-lose situation," Harmer explained. "What was most important for us was to get the material right first ... and it tied into these films, especially 'New Moon,' because if you strip away all the vampirism and the werewolves and the Northwest and everything, basically, the 'Twilight' series is just a big romance novel. It's a big story about love, and that's a major theme for us."

"The safe route would be to go with the straight performance video, like that Paramore video. But I don't think we're going to be outside in the woods ... you know, been there, done that. I don't think we're going to try to cut a narrative in where we're all dressed up like vampires running around with fake teeth in," he laughed. "I'm of the mind-set that the more Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner you can throw in the video, the more popular the video is going to be. Nobody wants to look at us, so we'll probably be standing in the shadows."

Juliette Lewis goes all Courtney Love on us

I was just about to finally get to lunch (at 3:42pm!) when I caught a glimpse of Juliette Lewis' album art on Myspace (see photo to left) and pushed down my hunger pangs to share. It's really too ironic, hilarious and oddly fitting to see Lewis with a massive drum, Yankee Doodle styled to her chest.

The photo intrigued me enough to visit her MS page and take a listen. Her music (which I've successfully avoided up until now) is obviously a through back to Courtney Love's chick agnsty rock band Hole, with a touch of blues? The kicker: I don't mind. Maybe because I love and miss Hole (not necessarily Courtney), but the raspy mumbles of her album, Terra Ingcognita, don't seem posed or artificial. Although, possibly unforgivably inventive. I'm not even mad to see another bored celeb dabble in music- just impressed, actually. This one may be worth its effort.

In the tradition of- well only one band comes to mind- 30 Seconds to Mars, Lewis may have a, well not hit, but luke warm success on her hands. Jared Leto toiled for years to generate a legit rep for his theatrical emo rockfest 30STM, and it worked. Their followers- or should I say disciples- the Echelon (which proudly includes me) are a worldwide quasi underground juggernaut. Could Lewis generate the same street cred?

Despite 30's talent and prowess, the initial draw is still the deliciously guylined Jared. But they proved themselves by touring relentlessly, fans reaping the benefits of such labors. (Seriously, if you haven't seen 30STM live yet GO NOW! You will become a believer.) Lewis may have a tough road ahead of her seeing as quirky middle aged women just don't peak interest the way a skinny blue eyed man in skinny jeans does. Damn our society. LOL

I say: Kudos, Juliette. Keep on truckin'! The album drops September 14th.

Taylor Lautner IS Young Hollywood

Taylor Lautner (our favorite wolf) is the cover boy for Teen Vogue's Young Hollywood issue. He's not legal yet, and isn't flaunting his credentials to prematurely booze it up in clubs... This is Young Hollywood??? Could baby celebs like Taylor and Selena Gomez (together perhaps?) be changing the persona of tinsel town's teen scene? Maybe. I'm cool with the squeaky clean image as long as he keeps his rock hard bod (man, I'm too old to be saying that LOL) covered (or rather uncovered) in dirt on these shoots.

A man shot that hot ass pic of Taylor?!? KUDOS Bruce! Twats (TWI Hats- NOT the other word you may be thinking of perves! haha) off to you, sir.

PS How bizarre is it to be talking/covering Eclipse before we even get to see New Moon? My heads spinning trying to focus on the shoot schedule vs. the release schedule. It's making me dizzy over here and I kinda like it....

Here Come The Humans & Bella's WIG

Cue the band's performance of "Pomp & Circumstance". Forks HS Class of 2009 is donning their marigold caps and gowns on the set of Eclipse. I know this all happened last weekend, but I was, again, busy busy ALL weekend. (GRRR)

Those of you who were also torturous away from their computer for two days can catch up with me on this post.

Everyone's favorite humans (outside of the Swan fam) Eric Yorkie (Justin Chon), Mike Newton (Michael Welch) and Angela Webber (Christian Serratos).

Post joining Team "Them" Jessica Stanley (Anna Kendrick).

So, here we have our first look at Bella's (or Kristen's if you live in reality) wig. There's something a muck here. It sits too high on her crown or something. Maybe I'm just to over critical, or know way too well what Kristen's real hair looks like. (Insert crazy/embarrassed fangirl blush here.) Either way, the jury's still out on this one....

What are your thoughts on Bella's wig??? I am praying that her hair grows out in time for BD. I mean, she has to "swim". A wig is not going to fend well on Isle Esme if you know what I mean. (laughs devilishly- hehehe)

Youth In Revolt!

AMAZING!!! Add this one to my can't-wait-to-see fall movies! Can I please just have Michael Cera's babies and be done with it? LOL I AM JUST KIDDING...sorta. HAHA

Check out the Youth in Revolt trailer. I've been waiting for this all summer. My movie theater has had the poster up since June. It has haunted me because there was no website or trailer, till today.

Youth in Revolt

IMDB says it opens October 30. Great way to kick off Halloween weekend- which BTW is on a Saturday this year! speaking of, quick question, I'm torn between Selene (Underworld) and Jane (Volturi/TWI) for my costume this year. Here's the breakdown on both:
Selene- kickass tude, black knee high boots, long trench coat, lots of leather.
Jane- freak-tastic red eyes, Little Red Riding Fang cape, literal death glare.

Choices, choices. What do you guys think? Anyone else going as a blood sucker this year? If so, which lore? On second thought fangs may be way played this year. And I was a vamp 2 yrs. ago. Maybe I should just cut my loses and go as the hairy beast from Where the Wild Things Are...

Today has been vamptastic blog day. Volturi, New Moon Soundtrack, more Volturi, Pam & Jim get married (?), True Blood. (Which one of these doesn't belong? LOL) Anyone who watched last week's True Blood knows we are in for a sultry Queen-y treat Sunday. (PS if you didn't go to HBO ondemand STAT! Plot thickens significantly.)

Evan Rachel Wood joins the cast as Queen Sophie-Ann. Below is EW's interview with Ms. Wood where she talks about Sophie-Ann's more...imbiguous sexual habits. Do I smell a Sookie, Sophie, Eric menage a trois...?

Is Evan Rachel Wood Playing a Lesbian Vampire?
Wed., Aug. 26, 2009 5:05 PM PDT by

HBO/ John P. Johnson

Queen Sophie-Anne is True Blood's new equal-opportunity vampire.

Evan Rachel Wood, who makes her devilish debut on the show this coming Sunday playing the 1,100-year-old bloodsucker boss lady of Louisiana, says she could end up having sex scenes with any of her costars.

"She's not necessarily a lesbian," Wood, 21, recently explained to me. "Her human partner is a girl, but I'm pretty sure she goes both ways [laughs]. I think vampires are like that in general."

And they also don't mind getting naked! Read on to hear what Ms. Wood has to say about stripping down on the hit HBO series and watching

Alexander Skarsgård take a shower. Plus, she sets the record straight about the Spider-Man musical...

EW:I'm not sure why I am talking to you because I don't think you're allowed to tell me anything, right?

ER: [Laughs] I can tease! What do you want to know?

EW: I want to know who you are going to have sex with. Are you more Eric or Bill, and what kind of drama is Queen Sophie-Ann starting?

ER: I figured that those would be the questions! Who do I have sex with? Well, I don't know if I am having sex with anyone yet, but I certainly have a steamy scene with someone that I don't think you'd really expect. So it will be a little fun.

EW: So no Eric or Bill? Because I think that is what everyone is assuming.

ER: Um, I'm not saying anything. I can't say either way.

EW: How did you end up on the show?

ER: I watched the first season and loved the show, so I got in touch with [series creator]

Alan Ball and said, "Keep an eye out for anything that might pop up." I thought it was a long shot, but then later on I got a call saying they needed a queen.

**Must be tough! (cue my crazy jealous eyes)**

EW: Did you know anything about the queen beforehand?

ER: I didn't. I said yes, even before I read the script. I didn't really care.

EW: So are you Team Eric or Team Bill?

ER: I would say, Team Alex—Eric! Whoops. [Laughs]

Pam & Jim (from The Office) tie the knot- today!

Office wedding update thanks to EW.com. Pam & Jim tie the knot in Niagara Falls!

'Office' scoop: Jim and Pam wedding spoiler!
by Michael Ausiello

Wanna crash Jim and Pam’s wedding/honeymoon? Get thee to Niagara Falls now.

A dedicated Aushole just tipped me off that The Office is shooting scenes with Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski on location at Niagara Falls right this second. “My two best friends were there and spotted Jim and Pam underneath a sign saying something along the lines of, ‘Everyone falls in love at the Falls,’ reports my spy. “There’s a small crew with them. They filmed today and continue on Monday.”

I haven’t been able to confirm any of this NBC, but it makes sense in light of the following spoiler Office producer/co-star Mindy Kaling
tweeted yesterday: “Sitting in airport going to a mysterious location to shoot something exciting.” That tease came six days after photos surfaced of Fischer and Krasinski shooting wedding scenes at a church in Van Nuys, Calif.
Bottom line: Mystery solved!

Attention any/all Niagara-based Ausholes: If you get a good shot of the newlyweds going over the Falls in a barrel, email it to me ASAP via
ausielloscoop@ew.com!

Aw, I heart Pam & Jim. This reminds me just how close we are to the return of good fall TV. FINALLY! If I have to sit through another ep. of Man vs. Wild or re-run of Gossip Girl I may stake someone. (Preferably a network exec.) I still may seeing as the '09 line up will be seriously lack i.e. no Pushing Daisies or Terminator. It's going to be a rough one, but we'll make it through. Vampire Diaries will see to that. :}

If TV lets us down, there's always the big screen. My top picks are Jennifer's Body (solely for the Diablo Cody tag and Megan Fox's vixen demon), Bright Star (Romantic swoon fest), Zombieland and of course NEW MOON!

UPDATE 1: Jane & Cauis added UPDATE 2: Aro& Alec added

MARCUS
Status: Vampire
Group: Volturi Coven
Date of Birth: Around 1300 BC
Date of Transformation: Unknown
Special Abilities: He sees the strength of the relationships between people
Quote: “You already know what you’ll do, Aro.”
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Marcus is the most detached of the Volturi leaders. The loss of his mate has essentially turned him into a zombie over the centuries. He is surprised by the intensity of Bella and Edward’s relationship.

Played By: Christopher Heyerdahl

JANE
Status: Vampire
Group: Volturi Coven
Date of Birth: Unknown
Date of Transformation: Unknown but at a young age
Special Abilities: Ability to inflict debilitating pain with her thoughts
Quote: “This may hurt just a little.”
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:Jane is a high ranking member of the Volturi Guard. The Volturi were waiting to change her and her brother Alec until she was older, but humans—believing her and her brother to be witches—tried to burn them at the stake, which forced Aro to act while the twins were little more than children. Jane’s experience with the pain of burning alive shaped her into a potent weapon – she developed the ability to inflict immense pain on others with only a look.
Played by: Dakota Fanning

CAIUS
Status: Vampire
Group: Volturi Coven
Date of Birth: Unknown
Date of Transformation: Unknown
Special Ability: No Known Power
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Caius is married to fellow vampire, Athenodora. With pale skin that is almost translucent and shoulder length hair white as his skin, Caius moves with such grace that he appears to be floating. He is a leader of the Volturi along with Marcus and Aro who have special abilities each. Caius tends to be the stubborn and demanding one of the Volturri as he was ardent that Bella should not be allowed to leave Italy alive. When Aro allowed Bella to leave Volterra alive under the assumption that Edward planned to change Bella in the near future, Caius was extremely disappointed. Aro, however, assured Caius that they would again try to persuade the Cullen family to join the Volturi. Caius does not have an special gift but he is clever and devises brilliant schemes and provokes those around him into deathly fear.

Played by: Jamie Campbell- Bower

ALEC
Status: Vampire
Group: Volturi Coven
Date of Birth: Unknown
Date of Transformation: Unknown but at a young age
Special Abilities: Unknown
Quote: “They send you out for one and you bring back two and a half. Such a clever girl.”
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:Alec is a high ranking member of the Volturi Guard. The Volturi were waiting to change Alec and his twin sister Jane until they were older, but humans tried to burn them at the stake, so the Volturi were forced to “change” them while they were young. Since acquiring Alec and Jane, the Volturi have seldom needed to fight - their victims are simply slaughtered.
Played by: Cameron Bright

ARO
Status: Vampire
Group: Volturi Coven
Date of Birth: Around 1300 BC
Date of Transformation: Unknown
Special Abilities: Ability to read every thought someone has ever had simply by touching them
Quote:“I love a happy ending. They are so rare.”
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:Aro is the leader of the Volturi. The sophisticated, urbane vampire’s goal is to recruit Edward and Alice to the Volturi. He refuses Edward’s request to be killed because of this. He lets them leave with Bella so as to not become their enemy (which would prevent his recruiting) and because he sees potential in Bella should she join the vampire world. He makes Edward and Alice promise to change Bella soon.
Played by: Micheal Sheen

VOLTURI 411
1) The Volturi include: Aro, Caius, and Marcus as the leaders, and then Jane, Alec, Demetri, Felix, Heidi, and several other unnamed members of the guard.

2) The Volturi are similar to a ruling body, and protect the secret of vampires by wiping out any “problems” as vampire law defines.
3) The Volturi live in an ancient Tuscan city called “Volterra”.

4) Aro and Jane’s powers do not work on Bella.

Director Chris Weitz on the Volturi — “No matter how strange one of the characters is in a work of fantasy, I think you have to approach them as people and then so you start to think, ‘They’ve been around for 2,000 years. How would they interact with one another?’ The conclusion was that after 2,000 years you’d probably be more than mildly insane. No matter how cultured or gracious you appear on the surface.
And I think that’s what Michael Sheen managed to portray as Aro, the head of the Volturi — on the surface he’s terribly gracious, warm, a wonderful host and at the same time he’s lethal and frightening. It’s also what Dakota Fanning conveys as Jane. She’s innocent looking in appearance but she’s absolutely deadly.

The first thing I wanted to do was put them in a setting that wasn’t Dracula’s castle. There have been so many vampire movies and werewolf movies and horror movies where everything has been dark and dreary. Instead, their headquarters is surprisingly light and crisp. And the characters that they play have a kind of a tactile reality to them in spite of how bizarre their situation is really. The whole point is not to leave Forks, Washington where everything has really been quite realistic and then suddenly go to a location that completely throws you out of the movie. And the set although it’s huge and grand and magnificent actually feels like a real place.”

So, Marcus looks creeptastic! I've said it before, but he is by far the most visually terrifying from the photos I've seen. Although Dakota's Jane takes a close second with her eerie possessed tween look. Little Red Riding Fangs. LOL But, what's up with Aro? Maybe it's the modern pant suit, but he looks too...normal. Marcus, Cauis & Jane all have that old world feel that I invisioned while reading NM. And I'm cool with Alec's MCR-esque ensemble, but there's something off about Aro's look. Guess I'll have to see it paired with Michael Sheen's performance to get the full effect.

So, which Volturian Coven Member are you seeing in your nightmares???

First single of New Moon Soundtrack Announced!

Stephenie Meyer just posted some New Moon soundtrack info on her site!!! It seems the first single off the OST will be from Death Cab for Cutie! :) If you don't know this band yet, wake up and learn! These guys are a PERFECT fit for TWI. I mean with song titles like "I Will Follow You into the Dark", they were tailor made.

The only bummer on the OST front is that Kings of Leon are officially NOT going to be part of the line up. Guess we'll have to wait for Breaking Dawn when "Sex on Fire" is too appropriate to exclude. (wink, wink)

To prove this news' legitimacy, here's Summit's press release:
“After months of speculation, Atlantic and Chop Shop Records have announced that the first single from the upcoming New Moon Soundtrack will be Death Cab for Cutie’s ‘Meet Me On the Equinox’. Fans will be able to hear the song, which was written exclusively for the soundtrack, in its entirety for the first time September 13th on MTV.COM during the MTV VMAs.”

OME!!! Did you catch that last part?!? September 13th is not only Bella's birthday, but also our first listen of the NM OST!!! :)

Bassist Nick Harmer talks a bit (it's very brief) about Meet Me on the Equinox- the before mentioned single. [Never fear. As soon as this single is available I will post it.]
“We are very excited to be a part of this amazing series of novels set in our own backyard. It just seemed a perfect synergy that a band from the Northwest would create a song for a series of novels set in the Northwest. We wrote ‘Meet Me On the Equinox’ to reflect the celestial themes and motifs that run throughout the Twilight series and we wanted to capture that desperate feeling of endings and beginnings that so strongly affect the main characters. This song marks the first attempt that Death Cab for Cutie has ever made at contributing new, unreleased material for a film and we are proud to be a part of the Twilight legacy.” — Nick Harmer / Death Cab for Cutie

Love/Hate Blogging

I've developed an odd love/hate relationship with GiddyGirl (this blog). There are days that all I want to do is write- write for real. Like working on finishing Absolution so when my first novel Immortal (Eternal Dawn is another working title. Ha, I have a working title.) woos an agent (fingers crossed!) I will be ready with a completed round two, and get a chance to go back to round three, Phoenix Rising. (What? I write out of order. So sue me.)

I wake up driven to connect the Vows chapter to the Forever is Gone chapter and flesh out my timeline, but somehow allow myself to check Myspace & Twitter which inevitably leads to Eclipse on set photos of Bryce Howard raising a Newborn army in Vancouver. And before I know it, I've been blogging for 2 hours and motivation is slipping. Then my stomach rumbles and it's lunch time, and I have to listen to Blue October and Muse to get back on track, which frequently backfires I might add.

Even blogging this is bad work ethic. I figured it would be therapeutic though. As wedding season and my other life as a wedding photographer (Didn't know I had layers did ya?) winds down, I am resolved to better balance GiddyGirl and Author Girl (me). I'm optimistic. Always am...until November 20th when New Moon throws a wolf-y wrench in that plan.:P

What it takes to become a Volturi member

Our Volturi vixen Heidi (aka Noot- or Renata- Seear) complains a bit about the pitfalls of becoming a member of the Italian based undead coven.

MTV Hollywood Crush:

"I didn't tan for two months," she explained. "It was awful, and totally unnecessary because they painted me white anyway. I had these crazy contacts that I couldn't see through. It was like skiing in a total snowstorm. I could see about two feet in front of me."

Thankfully, the costuming was a little easier, though don't expect Noot to be strutting around in a mini-skirt like in the novel. "It was this red, flowy dress with high gloves and big old heels," Noot said of her ensemble.

Check out the full article at MTV.com’s Hollywood Crush. It's pretty funny cuz it's filled with stereotypical model angst. Whoelse has seen New Moon?!?

While David Slade toils to earn his TWI-spect on the newly opened set of Eclipse, happily, MTV is finally stepping up the Saga coverage. If anyone can smell a cashcow it's Viacom. LOL Newho, it seems the cast and Mrs. Meyer are not the only ones who've had the lucked out pleasure of seeing a rough cut of the second installment, New Moon! Fellow director and brother of NM's Chris Weitz, Paul, has also seen the "early cut". I tell ya, it's all about who you know in this biz! It pays to be related to the director.

Check out the whole story from Larry Carroll at MTV.com's Hollywood Crush blog. For a dude he's got a pretty good opinion of all things TWI. Twudos (that's TWI Kudos hehe) Larry. :}

Sure, it’s great that writer/directors Paul and Chris Weitz invaded Hollywood together with the “American Pie” franchise, stuck together through films like “In Good Company” and “About a Boy,” and now find themselves as co-conspirators in their Depth of Field production company. But if you want to talk about the fringe benefits of a job, let’s forget about vision, dental and 401 K — and start with the fact that Paul has already seen “New Moon”!

Yep, that’s right — Chris is hard at work these days putting the finishing touches on one of fall’s most anticipated movies. And since the brothers are so close, Paul’s younger sibling has been bouncing ideas off him all along the way, and has already shown him the film!

“He showed me an early cut,” Paul revealed to us recently when we caught up with him. “And I thought it was awesome.”

OME! What would you give to be a fly on the wall of that screening room? Of course, Paul is every bit as esteemed a filmmaker, and his upcoming “Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant” recently unveiled an
eye-popping trailer that seems to promise one of the sweetest surprises of the season when it opens October 23rd. But just the fact that Paul has seen “New Moon” means that somewhere, at this very moment, a nearly-finalized cut is sitting waiting for somebody to press “play.”

Naturally, Paul is a bit biased — as any loving sibling would be when it comes to his brother’s work. But nonetheless, we had to ask him to give us the first-ever “New Moon” movie review.

“Why was it awesome?” he grinned. “Well, I just really enjoyed it.”
“I enjoyed the first movie too,” Paul explained, insisting he was no newbie to the “Twilight” world. “[Chris’ ‘New Moon’ movie] was really just an interesting story.”

So, there you have it Twilighters. Somebody out there in the world has seen “New Moon.”
As for the rest of us, well, we’ll just have to wait until November 20th – unless, of course, you want to legally change your last name to Weitz.

Kristen & Taylor talk New Moon with MTV News

Kristen & Taylor sat down (or stood- I don't know) with MTV News to discuss how much of a challenge shooting and acting in New Moon was for them. The full interview is below.

MTV: News Aug 25, 2009
By Larry Carroll

Taylor and Kristen sitting in a tree ... A-C-T-I-N-G?

MTV: Kristen, in your opinion, how is the relationship between Bella and Jacob in "New Moon" different than the one between Edward and Bella in "Twilight"?

Kristen Stewart: It's such a different relationship; it's like entirely original.

MTV: It seems much more playful.

Stewart: Yeah, exactly. They're light; they actually have fun with each other. Edward and Bella are always so strange, you know?

Taylor Lautner: It's always so tense.

Stewart: And only he can bring her out of that rut. Like, she literally is going to die; she's going to stop eating and be done. And the only thing that brings her out of it is this lightness [Jacob] brings.

MTV: What is one of the main things you're eager for us to see when "New Moon" hits theaters in November?

Lautner: I think the biggest thing you learn is that I disappear for a while, and she starts going through a separate depression. You go into a depression — would you call it that? — when I leave.

Stewart: Oh my God, yeah.

Lautner: Then she comes back to discover that I'm a werewolf, so that's the big boom. Yeah, I get to transform into a werewolf a couple times, which is awesome.

MTV: What was the stunt work like in those scenes?

Lautner: Well, Jacob's thing is he actually can transform in midair. So I got to do these really cool stunts where I got to actually run and then they'd hook me up on wires and I'd jump up in the air and then I'd come to a jolting stop and have to hang there for a bit. That's what you saw in the trailer, actually. That was a lot of fun. I get to do a lot of cool stunts in this one.

Stewart: That cute, little, fuzzy wolf.

MTV: He is very huggable. Tell us about one scene that you read either in Stephenie Meyer's book or in Melissa Rosenberg's screenplay that you were like, "Man, that's going to be tough to pull off," and tell us how you were able to figure it out.

Stewart: "New Moon" is riddled with all of that. I think it's the one book in the series that I was intimidated by — in a good way. That's the best feeling to start a movie with. But probably, my favorite line in the book is when I have to say to [Jacob], "It's him; it's always been him!" Like, I have to say that. Yeah, it killed me, it killed me.

MTV: It was a tough day to shoot?

Stewart: Yeah, and just like everything in our movie, it's such a heightened version of reality. It's like, people don't just break up [in the "Twilight" films] — they break up and it literally kills you. It's not like you just say, "Oh, I'm really depressed and crying." Everything is supposed to be a fantasy version of that. So I always had a really hard time figuring out, "Am I doing enough? Do I look like I'm going to die?"

MTV: Yeah, it would be tough to be the most dramatic person in the world, but without being cheesy. And Taylor?

Lautner: ["New Moon"] is very complicated. There's a lot of heartbreak, there's a lot of things going on. Edward leaves at the beginning, she goes into this depression, I come to try and bring her out of it. Then I go through my own issues, and then she leaves me. It's all over the place, and there's a lot going on, and there's many of those scenes that you described.

MTV: Which was your favorite to shoot?

Lautner: My favorite one was — well, we call it the breakup scene — but it's the scene right after she sees me shirtless and I've cut off my hair, all different for the first time. I have to tell her that we can't be friends anymore.

Stewart: He attempts to break up with me — but it doesn't work out.

HAHA I love that last line from Kristen. "It doesn't work." 86 days till NM!!!!

Bill Compton & James Unite???

ET Reports:

The sexy vamps of the wildly popular 'Twilight' and "True Blood" series are reportedly starring in a new vampire movie.

Stephen Moyer (aka Bill Compton) of HBO's "True Blood" and Cam Gigandet (aka James) of 'Twilight' have taken on roles in the thriller movie 'Priest ' but this time Moyer plays the mortal, Variety reports.

Based on the TokyoPop comic book, the movie is set in a turbulent time period, ravaged by wars between vampires and humans. The film follows a priest (Paul Bettany) who rebels against the church to avenge a group of murderous vampires who have kidnapped his niece. Gigandet's character helps the priest because he is in love with his niece, while Moyer plays the brother of the clergyman. 'Priest' is to begin shooting this week.

Oooh, Cam & Stephen, yummy. I wonder if Stephen will give Cam shit about sparkling since he's been quoted- talking about Meyer's vamps- saying, "He's [Edward] a pussy! He's the Slim-Fast, Diet Coke of vampires". Hmm, Cam may have to pull some Nomad moves to prove his vampirical worth with this antag Brit.

Regardless, it looks like the paranormal/vamp craze isn't going anywhere anytime soon. WOOHOO!!!

AVATAR

After watching this aphonic trailer for James Cameron's Avatar all I'm left with is the obvious fact that the F/X are out of this world. I have no idea what the plot is or what the characters are dealing with. But, I suppose that's the point. Afterall, this project has been collecting dust for about fifteen years just waiting for Cameron's crew, Digital Domain, to create the necessary digi magic.
Avatar in HD

I'm optimistic that Avatar will capture audiences (well, me) seeing as Cameron assumed the double role of writer/director on this one as he did with Titanic. (My heart is still going on Jack!) I'm not big into the sci-fi thing- hate me if you want, but I didn't feel Star Trek- but I'm willing to fork over $7 to see this one in theaters this December. Here's to hoping those two blue bodied lovers in the trailer quote something memorial like "Your tail swings, my tails swings- remember?"

NEW MOON ECLIPSES NORDSTROM!

It's official: We (The Twilight Nation) are a cultural phenom. (Was there a question before?) Nordstrom has a Twilight Saga: New Moon Collection of clothing now! See InStyle.com for the entire line and details.

Personally, I think this necklace leaves a bit to be desired. I've seen far superior designs Online .

Why does TEAM JACOB get a tank? Is it because those Quileutes run a steamy 108?

How does corporate America keep getting my ideas?! Am I being spied on???

Wow, now no one can legitimately call us crazy geeko nerds that read passages to each other in secret corners at B&N :P Nordstrom saw that we are millions strong and don't deserve the oppressed majority taunting we get all the time! Kudos to Nordstrom to joining the ranks with Hot Topic & Walmart. :)

I'm kinda annoyed though because I, once again, had this idea for subtly TWI inspired shirts months ago. i.e. "Bet you can't read my mind" (There's one really cool one I have in the old nogin, but I am NOT about to leak that gem. I'm keeping it MY idea- not theirs. (Cue my crazy paranoid eyes) Why am I not getting paid for these ideas?!?!?

Dum dum dadum Cullen style

STOP! SPOILERS AHEAD! CLOSE YOUR EYES AND SKIP THIS POST IF YOU HAVEN'T READ BREAKING DAWN:

In Style asked some of the today's top designers to sketch out their vision for the soon-to-be Mrs. Cullen and here they are. Remember, this is an Edward themed occasion- think 1918. Alice adds some modern touches to the vintage lacey design, but it's Bella's "Anne of Green Gables vision all over again." Check InStyle.com for the full story, and enjoy some of my favs. (Christian Siriano design pictured above.)

This Monique Luhillier number is my absolute fav- hands down! I think she really stuck to Alice/Bella's description as well.

Erin Fetherston's
is the most Anne of Green Gable-esque.

This Max Azria design could work

...

Check out this uber sexy Prabal Gurung! Love it, but not very Bella.

Lela Rose has the right idea, but I don't see Alice (or Bella) allowing that many ruffles.

The Badgley Mischka neckline captures the chaste mood of Bella & Edward's nuptials, but the sleeves are a bit much for me.

So what do you guys think?? Which is your pick for Bella on W-Day?
