Tim Burton's 9

At first I couldn't take the curious looking burlap clad cartoons seriously, but these apocalyptic rag dolls actually seem pretty badass after watching the trailer for Tim Burton's 9. (Which improbably does not include Johnny Depp or Helena Bonham Carter.) The zipper bellies and pop bottle eyes still kind of creep me out, but I'll let that slide.

This dooms day toon adeventure has one audience in mind- adults. The trailer below runs more like a think thriller than Wall-E. I just may have to throw down my hard earned (well, soft earned) cash for this one come 9-9-09. (The pun kind of slaps you in the face there, huh?)
