New Moon may be #3 for overall opening weekend--which technically means nothing because #1 (Dark Knight) & 2 (Spiderman 3) were summer mass audience releases. Not to mention (but I will) Heath Ledger's untimely death spiked the ticket sales for Dark Knight like a punchbowl on prom night. BUT we can still boast the TW-ell out of the following news to our families this holiday weekend. Thus transforming Thanks Giving into, wait for it, TW-anks Giving. Summit Entertainment officially released that New Moon had the biggest midnight opening of all time ranking in $26.27 million!!
This is just the midnight showing! We all need to go see New Moon again...and again because, I can tell you from personal experience, Jacob's & Bella's almost kisses get steamier and Edward gets dreamier every time. Let's break some more records TW-eople!
