EW 'Eclipse' cover

It's been awhile, but Twilight is baaaack on the cover of Entertainment Weekly . It's a double cover issue, so make sure you pick up both (or write a pleading email to EW stating how you are a loyal subscriber so you can get the other one sent to you like I do).

This week's cover: 'Twilight' stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner talk 'Eclipse' by Nicole Sperling

As the highly-anticipated Twilight Saga: Eclipse prepares to descend on theaters June 30, stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner get together in L.A. for a frank discussion about the roles they play within the Twilight universe — both on screen and off. They also open up about their Oprah appearance, staying fit, and what it took to film a climactic scene in Eclipse, in which the three characters are forced to wait out a blizzard in incredibly close proximity.
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: One scene fans have been dying to see takes place in the tent during the snowstorm. Jacob warms up Bella with his body because Edward is cold-blooded and can’t do it himself.

LAUTNER:
The tent scene is probably my favorite, because it’s the first time Edward and Jacob are actually able to connect and understand each other.

How many takes did you go through to get that scene?

LAUTNER:
Two days originally to film it, and then a full day of reshoots.

Why?

PATTINSON:
[The director] wanted it to be more erotic. Seriously.
STEWART:
It’s true. In the book there’s a serious sexual tension. As I’m sleeping, Jacob is staring over my vulnerable body, and he’s naked in this f- - -ing sleeping bag because you heat up faster that way, and Jacob and Edward are leveling with each other.

Taylor, you and Rob have some pretty serious confrontations in this movie.

LAUTNER:
Some of those scenes were pretty hard for me. I think we ruined a couple of takes in front of the house and in the tent. It’s just, I don’t know, I have a hard time looking at him…
STEWART:
Ha! “I have such a hard time looking at him”!
LAUTNER:
[Laughs] I wasn’t finished. He and I were this close to each other — we are literally, like, an inch away — and we’re screaming at each other.
STEWART:
And about to kiss…
LAUTNER:
A couple of moments it felt like that.
PATTINSON:
Every single time we had to do a threatening thing to each other — for one thing, you always have your shirt off, and so in the tent scene I literally grabbed your breast. And it’s very difficult to remain in the moment. Also, in that tent scene, I can’t really get over the fact that the word thought sounds like fart.
STEWART:
The word thought does not sound like fart.
PATTINSON:
It does.
STEWART:
Maybe because you are an English person.
PATTINSON:
The opening line of that scene is “Can you at least keep your farts to yourself?” I couldn’t quite get over that.

For more of our exclusive interview with the stars of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, pick up the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, on stands Friday, June 25.

Oh Rob... Farts, thoughts? I don't see the connection either, Kristen.

"Total 'Eclipse' of the Heart" Jimmy Kimmel special- vids

Jimmy Kimmel Live succumb to the TW-insanity with the "Total Eclipse of the Heart" special last night. Maybe it's just me, but I really don't like these massive events because nothing ever gets accomplished. We don't really get any good dish and the fan questions just end up offending someone (Jimmy mentions the double standard pertaining to Taylor's abs--video #3, min. :36). That being said, it's definitely worth watching. Especially to hear Xavier Samuels explain how he got bit by a raccoon in Vancouver (video #2, min. 4:45).

Thanks for the vids Edward & Bella Love.

Stephenie Meyer talks 'Midnight Sun' to Twifans!

Here's our first preview of the mini Eclipse junket that Stephenie Meyer decided to graciously host for a select group of Tw-an sites (including my fav Twifans.com ) instead of the typical generic talk show interviews that always seem to lack the TW-oodies we all crave like dish on Midnight Sun! The novel's in the works...ish, but I wouldn't hold your breath unless you're a Cullen.

Robert Pattinson is "Bothered" by the World Cup

Jimmy Fallon's "Robert Pattinson" seems extremely bothered by the World Cup especially for an Englishmen. Another classic to add to the "Bothered" files.

'Remember Me' on DVD Tuesday

Who else is up for a good cry tomorrow? Make sure you buy your copy of Remember Me (out on DVD Tuesday, June 22) at Plum Market for two reasons. One, they sell Kleenex which is a must during this tragic love story and two, there's an $8 coupon for RM on their website.

Click here to print the coupon and tomorrow while you're watching it, just press pause when Tyler's gazing out his dad's office window. It will be as if 9-11 never happened (in the movie world), I promise.

Lisa McMann's 'Wake' trilogy to hit the big screen

When I met Lisa McMann at a book signing in Holland, MI last month she told the crowd of adoring Wake fans that the trilogy wasn't going to be made into a movie...yet. Well, things happen fast in Hollywood. It seems I'll have another book hottie (Cabel!) to drool over in real life--or as real as fiction gets aka the movies. Who am I kidding? Fiction is real life to me sometimes.

My only qualm, they're shopping Miley Cyrus for the lead role, Janie. Um, no.  We all know I have issues with Miley. First, Aprilynn Pike's Wings now Wake? I'm way more invested in Janie, so this one stings even more. Miley has no right kissing Cabel!

OK, enough of my anti-Cyrus rant. Check out Lisa's official blog post announcing the fabulous news. Congrats Lisa!

The rumors are true -- WAKE movie news!

Paramount and MTV Films have picked up the film rights to the WAKE trilogy, with Christopher Landon (Disturbia) writing/directing. Miley Cyrus is considering the lead role.

As you know, even with people and studios attached, it takes a lot for a movie to actually happen, so there are no guarantees it'll get made. But I'm crossing my fingers.

I am thrilled!

As soon as I have more information, I will let you know. Read all the details at the link above!

Lisa

Here's a little synopsis if you're insane-o and haven't read Wake, Fade and Gone yet.

WAKE
For seventeen-year-old Janie, getting sucked into other people's dreams is getting old. Especially the falling dreams, the naked-but-nobody-notices dreams, and the sex-crazed dreams. Janie's seen enough fantasy booty to last her a lifetime.

She can't tell anybody about what she does -- they'd never believe her, or worse, they'd think she's a freak. So Janie lives on the fringe, cursed with an ability she doesn't want and can't control.

Then she falls into a gruesome nightmare, one that chills her to the bone. For the first time, Janie is more than a witness to someone else's twisted psyche. She is a participant....

Rob's Nightline Interview--oddly insightful

I have to say, when I heard Rob was going to be on Nightline I was apprehensive. I was sure it was going to be another generic blahsville interview for the un-twi'd masses, but Nightline surprisingly nailed it. Check out the interview below.

Taylor's GQ cover...Oh yeah, there's an article too.

All right, all right, I know it's wrong or whatever to ogle at Taylor and ignore the 3-page article in the July issue of GQ, but how can a girl not ogle. The poor boy--sorry man. He's eighteen now.--always ends up looking like a classy (I emphasize classy!) version of a Chippendales promo poster.

OK, now that I've re-focused, let's begin. First off, Taylor meets the interviewer at Olive Garden... Yes, I said Olive Garden. Now, I am not hating on OG--I met my boyfriend working between semesters of college there. (Wow, that sounded lame.)--but really? Olive Garden? Anyways, the article kinda rambles on as a introductory course in Meet Taylor Lautner for the middle-aged male demo GQ caters to, but there were a few gems. Here's my favorite bit.

Lautner's security guard rushes over with one last message, whispering something into his ear before disappearing again into the darkness.

"What did he just say to you?"

Lautner locks eyes with me, touches my leg and laughs. "He said, 'If anything happens—' " Lautner points towards the exit sign—" 'we're going left.' "

Check out more pics and the full article here .

Tw-ast interview round-up

This first interview with Rob has a tasty treat in an extended clip of the Bella drop off scene aka the "Doesn't he have a shirt?" scene. The "Bedward" kiss it beyond steamy, and Bella's follow-up line is perfection. I can get through these last two weeks, right?

Preview of 'Eclipse' Takeover on Jimmy Kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel is about to get Twi'd--I hope he knows what he's in for--because an Eclipse takeover of his show is scheduled to air on June 23rd. The show was already taped, so here's a little teaser to hold you over.

A few things come to mind having seen these: 1, where are Kellan and Jackson? 2, I need Kristen's hotsy bondage dress and 3, why is Carlisle chillin' with the villains in this  last pic? Don't forget to set your DVR's TW-eople!
