For all of us lucky Ann Arborites, this Friday is the annual Ann Arbor Folk Festival which features Iron and Wine and Jay Farrar and Benjamin Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie . YEAH! TWI bands in town!!! That never happens!
The Ann Arbor Folk Festival, a fundraiser for The Ark, will celebrate its 33rd year with some of the finest in traditional and contemporary artists. The Festival returns to Hill Auditorium for two dynamic and different nights of folk and roots music on Friday, January 29, and Saturday, January 30, beginning at 6:30 p.m. each night.

TICKETS ON SALE:
- Member Pre-Sale: Tickets are on sale to Ark annual members by mail only November 2 through 30 and are priced at $45 for a single night. Series tickets (both nights) $80. For information on becoming an Ark member call (734) 761-1800.
- Patron & Sponsor Tickets: Patron and Sponsor tickets - the best seats in the house - are on sale beginning November 2 by calling The Ark office at 734-761-1800 or by mail. Patron tickets are $75 for a single night and $125 for series tickets (both nights). Sponsor tickets are $150 for a single night and $250 for series tickets. Patron and Sponsor tickets include a tax-deductible donation to The Ark. Sponsor tickets include backstage passes during intermission and an invitation to our Saturday pre-glow party.
- Public Sale: Tickets are on sale by phone at (734)763-TKTS or in person at the Michigan Union Ticket Office, Herb David Guitar Studio, the Ark box office, or any TicketMaster outlet, or on line at www.ticketmaster.com. General public tickets are $30 and $45 for a single night; $50 and $80 for series tickets.
