Ashley Greene & Rob Pattinson on Jay Leno

Jay Leno is warming us up for the special Eclipse take over on Jimmy Kimmel that will air June 23. Monday Ashley Greene (and Cee-lo Green singing "What Part of Forever" from the Eclipse soundtrack) were on, then Rob Pattinson was on last night.

Ashley (Monday):

Rob (Tuesday): PS Who else wants to spend a pleasant English afternoon with Rob's dad?

PPS Twelve is going to be way better than the clip they showed during Emma Roberts' interview. I read the novel by Nick McDonell  and though I was stuck with serious thoughts all week, it was gritty good. And Chace Crawford plays the lead, White Mike. Where's the bad in this? I'm excited to see it on July 30th even if Emma Roberts is Team Jacob. I can forgive her for that, I guess.

Yet Another New 'Eclipse' Clip

Now I finally get to the whole reason for posting today. (Gah!) Another new scene from Eclipse was released and it's a badass Cullen style smack down on Victoria. Well, Victoria seems to be doing most of the smacking here, but we all know Edward will remedy that in a little while.

Win Lauren Oliver's new novel DELIRIUM

My favorite YA goddess Lauren Oliver has a new novel coming out in February 2011, but you could win an ARC and catch Delirium before it hits the shelves. Stop by the Vicarious Reader blog  and enter to win although I totally hope I do since I may encounter some delirium of my own if I have to wait till next year to read this dystopic sure-to-be masterpiece. Don't believe me, take a peek at Delirium's back cover copy.

Love. It kills you both when you have it, and when you don't.
Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing. They didn't understand that once love--the deliria--blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold.
Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the government demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Haloway has always looked forward to the day when she'll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy.
But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable: She falls in love.
Lauren Oliver, author of the incandescent New York Times bestseller BEFORE I FALL, shows us a world as terrifying as THE HUNGER GAMES and a romance as true as ROMEO AND JULIET.

Just a little dazzled now aren't you?

'Breaking Dawn' will be two films- official Summit press release

It's official kiddies, Breaking Dawn will be split into two movies. This comes to no surprise to those of us who've heard Stephenie Meyer say time and time in interviews how shoe couldn't possibly see fitting everything that happens in BD into one film. And who's going to go against her recommendation? Personally, I'm all for a marathon 3 hour juggernaut of Isle Esme, imprinting and house breaking, but I guess that's just me.
Summit's official press release:
Summit Entertainment Announces THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN To Be Released As Two Separate Films
SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN TO BE RELEASED AS TWO SEPARATE FILMS

David Slade talks about how "scary" Edward becomes in 'Eclipse'

In this behind the scenes interview with David Slade, he talks about how "scary" Edward becomes in Eclipse. I can't even begin to tell you how dizzy-dazzled that makes me. 20 days left!!!

Two new 'Eclipse' clips

Two new Eclipse clips from Access Hollywood. Now that the goof--I mean wolf pack is playing a dominate roll in the series, we have a few laughs to sugar our love triangle-y angst and newborn ferociousness. David's augmented the pack dynamic with quick camera shifts that make the poking fun at Jake even funnier. 20 DAYS!!!

"What did you do to me?"
"Maybe I should call Bella and hang up."

New 'Eclipse' Clip- "Unprotected"

I'm calling this new Eclipse clip "unprotected" because inconsiderate little Bella just has to point out that she's not...unprotected. Meaning, of course, that she has (gulp) Jacob to do the job. Ouch, that's gotta sting, Edward. I don't remember Bella being this mean in the book. First the motorcycle ride from school, now this. Not cool, Bella!

New 'Eclipse' stills

Oodles of new Eclipse stills in honor of soundtrack Tuesday! If you haven't purchased yours yet (go now!) it's available at Best Buy for $9.99.

My fav is the first pic of Jazz and Alice, but check out Bella's bedroom. There're pictures of Bells and Alice on the mirror. I just love watching her room morph throughout the series. Oh, and it cannot go without mentioning the intensely vivid golden/red eyes of our vamps.

OK, back to listening to Sia, The Black Keys and the rest of my new best friends. Enjoy the stills!

'Eclipse' is David Slade's "love letter" to all us Twihards

Dear fans of The Twilight Saga,

I want to congratulate you for reaching over 6 million fans on The

Twilight Saga Facebook page.

It's hard to fathom that it was just over one year ago that I started

constructing this third and epic adventure which takes place in the town
of Forks.

I want to share a story about one of our days of shooting with you.

It was a Friday night and the rain was relentless. We were at La Push to

shoot the tribe's histories, a great speech by Billy Black. We had
Taylor and Kristen and the whole wolf pack around a campfire as the
heavens let loose on us.

Gil Birmingham was in fine form as the rain hammered down on us all, we

adjusted our lights so that the rain vanished into the black of night.

We constructed a tent over the scene to keep everyone dry as we worked,

every 15 minutes or so we would have to tip it to stop the collecting
rain from splitting the fabric.

For some reason still unknown, around 3am, the wolf pack stood exactly

in the way of several gallons of rainwater as it was being cleared.
Being the wolf pack, they just laughed it off as they stood there soaked
to the bone.

We worked through the mud and the rain all night, until we had the scene

perfected.

As we left, dawn was now cracking and in the dim light I passed a small

army of fans who had braved the weather for the entire night, still
standing there, holding drenched flowers and waiting to get a glimpse of
our actors.

So, to those of you who stood behind our security, who waited in line at

theatres overnight, to those of you who just love these stories, The
Twilight Saga: Eclipse is a love letter to you.

Each day I felt the weight of your favourite scenes, your favourite

lines, your dreams and your imagination.

It has been an unforgettable journey, and now as I finalise the last

prints to ready the film for your local theaters, I cannot wait for you
to see it.

Sincerest Regards,

DAVID SLADE

Taylor's MTV Movie Awards promo

Taylor's MTV Movie Awards promo kinda yawns next to Rob's, but it's not his fault--they didn't write anything good for him. Plus there was no cardboard cutout of Kanye for him to roundhouse kick so... He's still delish in it.
