Paramore Rocks "Ignorance"

PARAMORE HAS A NEW SINGLE EVERYONE!!!!
Sorry, I just had to make a grand announcement because Paramore is my absolute FAV band. (Afterall, if it weren't for them I probably wouldn't be TWI'd- GASP!) Their new album, Brand New Eyes, drops September 29th (What is it with this fall?! So much fab music, movies and TV after a snoozer of a summer. I LOVE it!)

Instead of posting the weak 10 second clip on their site, I decided to treat you to a live version of "Ignorance". It's a fan vid, so it's a bit sketchy, but I LOVE them live (If you haven't treated yourself do so immediately!) and it reminded me of seeing them at Hard Rock ;}

Check out all the dets on Brand New Eyes and sneak peek of the "Ignorance" video debuting on MTV, MTV2 and MTVU Thursday, August 13th at Paramore's newly revamped
Official site . The new stuff sounds a tad bit more grown up if I may say so myself. Hayley's lookin' hot per usual in the new vid too. Woohoo, new Paramore! :) We Were (definitely) Born for This!

Jasper's History Will be Included in Eclipse!!!

It's official! Jasper's history as a charismatic southern gentleman/Confederate soldier will be included in Eclipse!!! In the vid Jackson says he's been learning to horseback ride. Why Mr. Whitlock, you're making me blush ;} I wonder who will be cast as naughty makers Nettie, Maria & Lucy???

OME I am soooo excited that the Cullens' histories aren't going to be lost in Eclipse like Carlisle's was in Twilight. Hmm, I wonder if Nikki is mentally preparing for Rosalie's run in with Royce and his dirtball preppy assbags?? I hope David Slade shows Rose gettin' some much deserved revenge! He seems like teh kind of director that would be into the back stories. I can't wait!!!

2009 Teen Choice Awards

Just when you thought I was on the wagon (5 non-TWI posts in a row!) here I am again, Cullenized >:} The Teen Choice Awards were last night (As if we needed another excuse to TWI out another 2 hrs. of TV.) They air tonight at 8pm on Fox. I pulled together some vids & pics of our fav vamps, wolves and humans on the red carpet.

The cast minus one (Rob is hiding!) gives a pretty entertainment interview here. Kristen pokes fun at Rob's coiff- Nikki claims it's a toupe. [Note: This vid will probably not stay up too long cuz it auto starts. So annoying!]

Taylor is such a good sport when these people purposely embarrass him on national TV.

Not sure what the music choice is all about on this slideshow, but it has a ton of great TWI cast pics from the show. Check out Rob and Megan Fox. This is some sort of perverted dream of mine to see them together LOL (So sick)

Here's some Pics:

The Rob & Megan Fox shot in case you missed it in the slideshow. Yes, I love her people! Don't care what the haters say. She's hot and you know it. That's why you hate

I love the random ass pairing of Taylor with Chase Crawford. Don't get me wrong this is fantasy-licious, but I'm sure they don't even know eachother's names.

My fav so far: Rob & Jackson

VMA Noms- The (well my) Rundown

As soon as I heard Russell Brand was returning as host of the 2009 VMAs, I was all over that situation. The show airs September 13th (Bella's birthday!) and will have performances from Green Day, Taylor Swift (unfortunately not Lautner), Pink AND Muse! (Woohoo! It's about damn time MTV caught a hint!)

My favorite/the most ridiculous category is Best Video (That Should Have Won A Moonman) . This Ghost of VMAs Past lot- which spans over 20 yrs- includes The Beastie Boys, David Lee Roth, George Michael, Dr. Dre and Bjork. Can we say diversity? My vote is with Bjork's "Human Behaviour". First off, I love Bjork! (Who doesn't?) Secondly, she spends the 4:10 minute masterpiece (Yes, I'm making that bold claim.) fending off carniverous teddy bears and shrinkage of the non-Seinfeld variety. Director Michel Gondry produced a rare gem here.

"Human Behaviour"'s Carniverous Teddy! That's Bjork in the belly!

The most daunting category proved to be Breakthrough Video . Why are there so many damn nominees?!? It took me a solid 25 minutes to get through all of them. Hot kudos to MTV for variety (again) though. There was a definate Monster Madness trend in videos this year that I happily ate up. (Thus making the voting for only one harder.) It was a tough choice for me between the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Heads will roll", Anjulie's "Boom", Matt & Kim's "Lessons learned" and Major Lazer's "Hold the line". Lazer's vid has pimp Spaceghost-esque graphics, and I unhealthily dig "Boom", but I voted for "Heads will roll" based solely on the sexy deathtrap dance club concept of the vid. I thought I was the only one who turned into an evil ratfink uber killer when I hear a funky groove. (???)

Passion Pit wins my non-applicable vote for Best Band Name. Matt & Kim's "Lessons learned" wins my vote for Best Balls Out Video (Even though I made this category up, it sounds oddly doable for the 2010 show). This one would have definitely won my Breakthough vote, but the "Heads" video is too eerily close to my personal reoccuring carnage rampage dream/fantasy. Glitter for blood and confetti for guts- that's exactly how it will- would happen... if it weren't just a meaningless dream of course. It's a totally normal/non-psycho dream. I swear.

Also, big ups to my boy Drake (How exactly he is "my boy" is still TBD.) for a Best New Artist nod.(Check July 25th post titled "What the What?" for dets on Degrassi star turned rapper Aubrey "Drake" Graham.)

PS Why are the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Deathcab for Cutie in the Breaktrough category??? They broke through some time ago MTV!
Wow, that was a mouthful. Now, let's hear your thoughts. How did you vote? Did you vote? There's still a month to go if you haven't.

My Brother got Published!

Uber random, but my brother's comic book, The Sanctuary, just got published, and there's a zany publicity vid to propagate it.

The artist is indeed my brosive... Take from it what you will.

Selma Hayek Grows a Beard

What is it with the Weitz brothers and vampires?? I guess they have a taste for the eternal leeches. Paul Weitz, brother to Chris, (director of the much anticipated Twilight follow-up New Moon- cue giddy smile I can resist everytime I say those two words.) directs Selma Hayek, John C. Reilly and reletively unknown cutie Chris Massoglia in Cirque du Freak- opening October 23.

This flick's no New Moon though. (Sorry ladies.) The vampires leaves something to be desired (No dazzling topaz eyes here.) and the would be eye candy, Hayek, grows a beard everytime she's turned on by her blood sucking BF, Reilly. How she's getting turned on by him, I'm still not sure. BUT after watching the trailer, this is definitely where I parked my car!

It's a bit watered down - the vamps don't kill, just borrow plasma- but everyone in Massoglia's Darren's new vampirical world is supernatural somehow. Now this is what I'm talking about. Climbing walls, immortality, the guy from Almost Famous with green scaley skin. I could settle down in this town about as easily as I could Forks, WA. Bottom line: This movie is yet another reason why I can't wait for fall!

The Lovely Bones Trailer

One of my favorite books The Lovely Bones is hitting the big screen in December. I can't tell you how bummed I was when I found out Peter Jackson was making this movie. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to see Susie Salmon's voyeuristic journey from the "in between",but I was hell bent on winning my Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar with this one. (A girl can dream, and I dream BIG!)

I'm not completely sold on the casting yet, but I'll keep an open mind.Fun fact, Jackson shot in a Pennsylvania town very similar to the one in which the novel is set.

One for the Boys- MEGAN FOX

This is one for the boys (Finally!!! Right? LOL) But I'm super psyched for the Jennifer's Body trailer too. (Seriously!) Anyone who knows me knows I heart Juno screenwriter Diablo Cody and horror flicks and have a wicked girl crush on Megan Fox. Can you blame me?! She's saucy, gorgeous and definitely naughty.

Please watch in the privacy of your own room- Boys may react...inappropriately to Hotsy Foxy. Let me tell you, blood never looked so good- unless of course it's dripping from a Cullen's lips (Sorry, I just had to.)

Bonus: Quick C-Con vid w/M-Foxy:

New Moon Calendar

EDIT: I found the April photo. Thanx Twilight Fixation !

So, I wasn't going to post about the New Moon calendar Borders is selling for $16.99 on principal of not ever planning to spend more than $12 on a calendar, BUT then I saw April's photo and decided maybe it was news worthy. (Wowsa, hubba hubba Jake & Bells) I sure hope Melissa Rosenberg didn't take any, ahem, liberties with the almost you know what in Charlie's kitchen scene...or maybe I do LOL.

Oh yea, April baby!

PS Here's a coupon for 50% off the calendar at Borders :) Also, The Limited Edition Breaking Dawn is out and so if the paperback for Eclipse. The LE BD comes with a poster (supposedly of anime Edward & Bella) and DVD of the BD concert series! I almost wish I didn't own it so I could get that DVD.

Photos from NM Set

Here are some fab photos from the New Moon set! (Not sure why they're all textured like, but they're still great pics.)

Bella @school (judging by the hair) pre Edward leaving. Check out Angela in the backg. Still a budding photographer I see:

Aw, the happy couple going to History together:

In between takes (my fav!):

God, look at those topaz eyes!!! (swoon):

Bella's sun to the rescue after Edward leaves (Stupid Unreliable Vampire/Shiny Volvo Owner!):

OK, this one is totally posed, but I love it. They look like such good buddies here:
Bella: Why are you eating the town's folk Jake? I know we're pale, but come on! Jacob: I'm sorry I can't be the right kind of monster for you Bella.
Do you like my commentary? LOL Let me know which one's your fav. I'm sure, by default, many of you will gravitate to the shirtless Taylor number LOL. It's okay to be Team Jacob. I get it LOL.

New Moon Trailer: Fan-made

One of my favorite ways to pass the time between TWI Saga movies is Fan-made trailers (click link for Reelz Channel's Top 5). I LOVE them! and have no idea how these people do what they do. (Kudos!) Here's a new one I found on www.NewMoon.org. I've seen ’em all (OK that's impossible. Click link for the cornacopia I speak of.), and this one gets mad props for both editing and dialogue.

New singles from Muse

Muse's first new material since Black Holes and Revelations in 2008 has finally hit the net with two very different singles for us to nibble on while we wait for the August 16th release of The Resistance. The new album has a supercharged message that's relevant to the war times we may have forgotten we live in.

"United States of Eurasia" rocks eerily close to fellow Brit rockers Queen, but are we surprised? Is that a far leap for them? They share that pitchy guitar riff signature, and stadium quality we all love. Maybe it's the modern girl in me, but I prefer Matthew Bellamy's angsty whine over Queen's throaty Mercury.

Check out the new track "US of E: It has a damn the man- end the war- message without being a downer.

The second single "Uprising" runs on synth overdrive. I'm not not cool with that, the intro is just a bit much. (How very Muse of them, right?) It does sound more Muse-y though. (which I prefer)

ECLIPSE REHEARSALS START TODAY!!!

Rehearsals for the third installment of the Twilight Saga, Eclipse, start today!!!
The stars started arriving in Vancouver yesterday to prepare for the undoubtedly rigorous fight scene rehearsals. Everybody gets some blood in this one!
Here's our new Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard): Man, that girl had to hop to. She must have signed a contract and ran to the airport.

And poor doomed little Riley (Xavier Samuel): What am I talking about? Damn that Aussie's H-O-T! Yummy New Born mmm...

Here's our old friends The Cullens (Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene & Kellan Lutz):

How pumped are you to see the Cullens bare fangs side by side with the wolves?!? I can't wait for Edward to decapitate you know who. (cue evil laugh)

First I'm itching for summer to be over so fall and all it's glory i.e. New Moon can come, and now I'm back to dreaming of summer. (watch my head spin- being pulled in too many directions LOL) June 30, 2010 can not come soon enough...but I'll take November 20, 2009 1st please.

Seinfeld Reunion

Seinfeld creator and star of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry David is once again taking cue from his real life in the show's 7th season. The new season, airing September 20th, will include a Seinfeld reunion show spoof-ish (the reunion is actually happening).

We'll see George, Jerry, Elaine and Kramer (and Larry) write, rehearse and shoot said reunion show. Larry explains the scenario below.

"The context is that for years I've been asked about a Seinfeld reunion," said David, "and I'd say no it's a lame idea. And then I thought it might be very funny to do that on Curb, and I kept thinking about it and different scenarios of how to pull it off."

Although I'm confident in Larry's ability to be the mashugana in the group, I feel like Michael Richards may take over the reigns here. Guess we'll just have to wait for September. (Yet another reason why fall can't come soon enough!)

Why am I not French???

So, I'm asking myself Why am I not French? because not only do they get to see New Moon two days earlier than us state siders (November 18th vs our November 20th), they also have this fully loaded Special Edition Twillight DVD Set being exclusively released there on November 3rd!

This 3 disc set boasts 4 songs from the NM soundtrack!, a bracelet and two rings! Can you say lo que un gyp?!? I bummed I won't be able to enjoy this gem. I mean sure, I took French in high school, but I am nowhere fluent enough to translate "Tengo que deslumbra?" (Do I Dazzle you?).

For those of you who are fluent and wish to hear Edward blow verbal french kisses to his Bella, you can pre-order the set
here .

New Moon Site Updated!!!

The official New Moon site has been updated again!!! (YEAH!) Click on "The World of Twilight" to see the updated portion.

There are tons of videos and photos, plus merchandise links and widgets. It's basically the main hub for everything you'd ever want/need when it comes to Stephenie Meyer's vamps (and wolves)- except instructions on how to become a Cullen... Hopefully those will be in the next update LOL.

Kudos to Summit for really embracing the saga by making the site for the films a resource for all things TWI rather than just the movies.

It's some great stuff. Check it out, and let me know what you think!
